I would like to ask how MTTFS is calculated as I am not able to achieve the same results as the software. The failure rates of the sensor are the following: Safe Detected: 1.44E-06 | Safe Undetected: 1.44E-06 | Dangerous Detected: 1.41E-06 | Danger

For the sensor, the MTTFS matches 1/STR, where the spurious trip rate is the sum of the SD and SU failure rates. Keep in mind, failure rates are per hour whereas MTTFS is in years. For more information on calculating MTTFS, please see our Webinar on the subject by following this link:
