Frequently Asked Question
In exSILentia the failure rates that are used from the SERH database are the same for low demand and high demand applications. Is there anything that needs to be considered, associated with the input failure rates to exSILentia when in high demand compare

Currently the failure rates remain the same in the tool (though we do have the ability to handle different failure rates for different demand modes). The main reason is that we do not have failure rates for all different modes of operation.
If we look at a solenoid valve as an example, there are certain stiction failure rates that do not occur if the solenoid is stroked more frequently than once every week. So their may be a difference between low and high demand if the high demand is really high in this example.
