Note: The Windows App (available in the Microsoft Store) is the direct equivalent to the Citrix environment. We highly recommend all users to utilize that approach. The browser approach is a new method not previously supported and comes with some quirks when accessing local drives.

In the web client (browser version), direct access to your local C:\ drive isn’t enabled the same way it is in the full Windows client. To access your local computer Drives using the browser version of AVD, there are a few extra steps to follow.

1) You need to allow it when launching

2) To send a file you use the Upload new file button.

3) Then in Open Project go to the Redirected Drive -> the Uploads folder

4) To send files back.. save them to the Downloads Folder, the file will be downloaded to your local Downloads file.
